Great Eastern Women 10K

Happy Holidays...

That is what you would say when you are at home...
But for me...im still sitting down in my office...Waiting to punch Out..

Yesterday, I had my first Marathon...Geez..
It was really a challenging one..
It was really different..Training indoor and Outdoor..
I need to condition myself..a lil harder..

My experience..
1st 20min of running was normal..my own timing.. at 14min, i was already 2KM...
I saw ANITHA from KENYAN making her way back..it should be around 4KM...it was like WOW!

AT 30min i was feeling very hot..Super HOT...I could feel all the ASAP/SMOKE coming out from my body..You will feel like tearing out your own clothes..and you feel like throwing all the accessories that is with you..your IPOD, your watch...it feels such a luggage....And i had to refrain myself from walking...Telling myself to push a step further..
Imaginning that Hell would be much worse than this hotness..

BUT in the end..i gave up...AT the 6KM mark, i walked...it had been 30min since i run/jog..and i walked...

7KM, i decided to run again, when i realise all my energy had been drained already...
And Everytime i tried to run, the hotness overwhelm me again and again...

AFTER Running and walking, jogging and walking...it was already 1hr 10min.. and i still have 1.5KM more to go...my previous timing was 1hr 10min(treadmill)...but i gauge myself that i would complete within 1hr30min..

I did complete the marathon..within 1hr 26min...I ran at the last leauge of the marathon..

You will feel pumped up once you see the FINISHing line...and all those energy that fly out..came back IN..Giving all what you GOT..

That was my experience in my 1st race..

ANd i saw my classmate from PSS..she completed hers within 58mins.. like wow..

and the KENYAN lady..ANITHA...she completed the race within 33min...superb!

Seriously..im looking forward for my next race.. Standard Chartered...
By then i should be ready...COndition myself..
